The Main Purpose of Learning Language

I don't know why, recently I want to talk in English as much as possible. Maybe after I read an article in my English Try Out. About what? It's about the main purpose or ability in learning a language. After I read it, I realized that the main purpose of we learning a language is speaking. Do you agree with me?

When we was child, our parents always taught us to learned about language. Maybe it just a sign such as when we was child and hungry we cannot speak at all. We give a sign to our parents that we were hungry,with our hand maybe or crying loudly to our parents.
Did you know? Our sign which we gave to them (our parents) is a kind of language.

You think when a child crying, it was very noisy and disturb us? No.. Don't think like that. They crying, because there is something. Something which they want to tell to us. Because they cannot speak they give to us a sign.

Time goes by time, we learn and keep learning language. By learning language, we don't need to cry when we were hungry. We can speak to our parents that we were hungry. We just talk or maybe we can bring and eat our food ownself. It's a simple example for the purpose of learning language.

There are so much advantages from learning language, we can communicating each other although we come from different country, we can get a lot of friend and more.

But, it (the main purpose of language) would never realize if we never speak. Without speak, we can't or difficult to communicating each other, hard to tell our ideas.
So, We have to practicing to speak the language which we have learned before.

In the other words, the important purpose and ability of learning a language is speaking. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. We're still learning, right? Just keep practice to speak.

For me, to speak is important especially in English. We have been knowing and learning English since 4th grade in Elementary School. It gonna be useless if we're not practice and speak (in English).
